SUMMARY:An Evening with Fidélitas Winery
DESCRIPTION:Experience the quality and value of a winery that’s been producing delicious Washington state wines from the iconic Red Mountain AVA for over 25 years- Fidélitas. \nJoin us in welcoming Greg Giere\, National Sales Manager for Fidélitas. \nWhat is Fidélitas winery? \n\nFidélitas is nestled in the heart of Washington’s most distinctive terroir\, Red Mountain. What began in a family kitchen in 1982 has grown into a generational pursuit—to honor the land they call home and craft world-class wines. \nThe winery is run by father-son winemaking team Charlie and Will Hoppes\, and founded in 2000 by Charlie after having spent the previous decade at Chateau Ste. Michelle. During his tenure\, he opened their Canoe Ridge facility\, crafted the first few vintages of Col Solare in partnership with Tuscany’s Antinori family\, and made Ste. Michelle’s first red in Wine Spectator’s Top 100: 1995 Indian Wells Merlot\, which solidified his standing as a lifelong advocate and defining voice for Washington Merlot. Charlie just finished his 38th vintage and his son\, Will\, who grew up working in the cellar is back at Fidélitas continuing his dad’s legacy.\nThe wines are made from 100% Red Mountain AVA fruit\, sourced from Fidélitas Estate and other select vineyard partners. They exclusively produce Bordeaux varietals\, released as single-vineyard\, single-varietal bottlings and Bordeaux-style blends\, with a focus on small-lot\, terroir-driven winemaking. \n\nWho is Greg Giere? Greg is the Seattle-based National Sales Manager for Fidélitas\, a boutique winery producing bold\, vineyard-driven wines from Washington’s Red Mountain AVA. His love for wine began in 2005 while working in fine dining\, where great food\, hospitality\, and exposure to exceptional wines sparked a lasting connection to the craft. He transitioned into the wine industry in 2012\, gaining experience in local distribution and at respected wineries including Washington’s Cadence and Napa Valley’s Sinegal Estate. Greg brings a thoughtful\, relationship-driven approach to growing Fidélitas nationwide and holds a Level III Award in Wines from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust\, a Level II Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers\, and an Enology Certificate and Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University. When not traveling in support of Fidélitas\, he enjoys time with his wife and their two bulldogs\, Paisley and Penny. \nThis event WILL sell out\, so secure your spot ASAP!
