This course is a fantastic overview of the world of international wines and is suitable for wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. \n\nWSET Level 2 Award in Wines \nWho should take the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines Course?\n\nYou are a wine enthusiast with a beginner to intermediate level of wine knowledge who wishes to gain in-depth knowledge of wines and wants to obtain an internationally recognized wine qualification\nYou are employed in the drinks and hospitality industries and have some prior knowledge of wines in general and international wines in particular\n\n\n WSET Level 2 Award in Wines Prerequisites\nStudents must be at least 21 years of age upon course enrollment. \nLevel 1 Award in Wines is not required to take this course. SUMMARY:Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course (CSWS)
DESCRIPTION:Overview \nThe Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course program and certification consists of a 2.5-hour class that includes the following: \n– Instruction on the history\, geography\, climate\, viticulture\, wine making\, and wine styles. Students will also learn about food pairings\, and the best ways to serve Sherry. \n– A tasting of six wines which illuminate all the basic styles of Sherry including Finos\, Amontillados\, Olorosos\, and Sweets \n– A 28-question graded test at the conclusion of the course.  The award of Certified Sherry Wine Specialist will be given to those with a passing score of 20 or above.  This Certificate of Achievement will be signed by both Lustau’s CEO and César Saldaña\, Director of the Regulatory Council of Jerez.
