SUMMARY:An Evening with Caprio Cellars
DESCRIPTION:Explore one of Walla Walla’s best kept under the radar wineries- Caprio Cellars.  We love the high quality and high value wines they produce and can’t wait to share them with you.  You’ll enjoy five wines which highlight their commitment to great fruit\, respectful winemaking\, and a sense of place. \nJoin us in welcoming Robbi Ebel\, Director of Sales for Caprio Cellars who will guide you through this experience sharing the stories and tidbits that make these wines special. \nWhat is Caprio Cellars? \n\nA small\, family-owned winery\, Caprio Cellars began its journey in 2010 with the release of its debut wines\, establishing a tradition of exceptional hospitality\, innovation\, and respect for the land. Today\, they proudly steward four estate vineyards—Eleanor\, Octave\, Sanitella\, and Seven Hills. \nInspired by his Italian grandmothers\, Sanitella and Eleanor\, founder Dennis Murphy opened the Caprio Cellars hospitality center in 2019. Designed to feel like home\, it offers a welcoming space where guests can savor curated wine flights paired with seasonal small plates\, each crafted to highlight the character of our wines. \nAt Caprio Cellars\, they let the fruit take center stage. With the careful use of moderate French oak\, their wines achieve a harmonious balance of depth and authenticity\, always honoring their origins. \n\nWho is Robbi Ebel? \nRobbi is the Director of Sales for Caprio Cellars\, a small family-owned winery in Walla Walla\, producing estate Bordeaux wines.  She was a founding member of the Blue Mountain Cider company formed in 2001 where she learned about starting a cidery/winery from the ground up. She then spent 2 years with the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance running events and marketing.  In 2007 she joined the Waters Winery team as their Sales Director.  Waters Winery worked closely with Gramercy Cellars\, so it was a natural progression to move to Gramercy fully from 2013-2022.  After a leave of absence to care for family\, she joined the Caprio Cellars team in July of 2022.  She was happy to return to working in the Southside of Walla Walla again\, adjacent to vineyards and with a beautiful view of the Blue Mountains.  Robbi’s non work passions include teaching indoor cycling at the same studio her daughter teaches at and spending time with her family\, friends and all of the animals on her mini farm. \nThis event WILL sell out\, so secure your spot ASAP!

SUMMARY:Battle of the Grapes: Value vs. Splurge
DESCRIPTION:Think you can taste a wine’s price? More importantly\, do you know which one do you actually prefer? Join us for an interactive blind tasting where we strip away the labels and let the wine in the glass do the talking. \nGet ready to experience three head-to-head pairings (six wines total)\, matching value wines ($10-$15) against “splurge-worthy” wines(+$50) of the same variety/style. Your mission isn’t to guess the correct price or pick the most expensive wine to prove you’re a pro. Instead\, this event is to help you discover what you actually like when the price tag isn’t there to influence you. \nDo you prefer a luxury bottle or does a value gem win you over every time? There are no wrong answers\, this is your chance to gain an understanding of your own personal taste. \nAttendees will receive 10% off event wine orders (15% off for members). \nLight cheese and charcuterie will be provided to enhance the experience.
