Decoding the Language of Wine

April 15 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$45.00

It’s one thing to enjoy the wine in your glass and it’s something else to try to decipher those obnoxious tasting notes that accompany labels, critics’ reviews, and books. Who makes this stuff up?  Pencil lead?  Zesty? Minerality? It’s as daunting as understanding how to file your taxes! In this class our founder and wine geek, Kat, will guide you through a tasting and deciphering of common wine words from classic to trendy.  We’ll taste five wines and use them to decode the words that refer to the structural and style characteristics in the glass.  You’ll come out with a better knowledge of what all those wonky terms mean to your brain AND your palate.

Attendees will receive 10% off all event wines (Flight Club members save 15%)!

Light cheese and charcuterie will be provided to enhance the experience.
