COURSE SYNOPSIS
Viva la revolucion! From hundreds of years of winemaking experience to well-suited climates and ample irrigation, Chile and Argentina have undergone a significant revolution in the wine world. Once known for inexpensive wines of variable quality, both of these countries produce a wide array of grape varieties from indigenous grapes such as Pais and Carmenere to international rocks stars like Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Join us as we explore some fabulous wines from our friends in the southern hemisphere along with culturally inspired cuisine.
