Blind Tasting Series- White Wines

You’ve heard the stories, seen videos, and maybe even delved into blind wine tasting yourself.  But how do you get better at learning about what wines you really enjoy without knowing the label, region, variety, or price?  In the Blind Tasting Series we’ll explore key techniques to help you to uncover the clues behind sight, aroma, and taste that leads to accurate wine evaluations.

In our first class we’ll explore the variety and diversity of white wines from across the world and discover what makes them different and how to identify them via blind tasting. We’ll explore five classic wines and will uncover what makes them unique based on varietal characteristics, winemaking techniques, and aging effects.

Taught by our Founder, Kathryn House McClaskey, a Master of Wine candidate who has passed the tasting and theory portions of her certification, you’ll learn tips and tricks from an expert taster with over 20 years of experience.  This is a great course for newbies and seasoned wine enthusiasts alike to experience wine and learn not only how to identify a wine, but how to find more wines that you’ll love to drink!
