COURSE SYNOPSIS
Perhaps the most well-known wine growing region in the world, Bordeaux has been producing wine for over 2,000 years. From rich and savory reds produced with varying amounts of traditional Bordeaux varieties dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, to beautifully balanced whites and sweet wines, Bordeaux has something for everyone. We’ll taste the gamut of these wines and learn about the importance of vintage, varieties and vinification in creating them. At the end, you’ll eat and drink your way through Southwest France and perhaps found a new favorite wine (or 5)!
