WHO IS DOMAINE SERENE?
Domaine Serene, an iconic Oregon winery founded in 1989 in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s Dundee Hills. Inspired by the great wines of Burgundy, they are dedicated to producing world-class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines from their estate vineyards, combining precision winemaking with a deep respect for terroir. Over the years, Domaine Serene has become one of the most awarded wineries in the region, known for its luxury expressions of Oregon wine and its commitment to excellence from vineyard to bottle.
WHO IS JALEN SWEENEY?
Jalen’s passion for wine began in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, where he was born and raised. Early in his career, he had the opportunity to work with some of Oregon’s premier wineries, including King Estate Winery, Willamette Valley Vineyards, and Domaine Serene. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the craftsmanship, dedication, and attention to detail required to produce world-class wines—from vineyard to glass.
Today, Jalen serves as an On-Premise Sales Representative with Hayden Beverage Company, partnering with many of Idaho’s leading restaurants and hospitality venues to develop wine programs, support staff education, and enhance guest experiences. He holds the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines with Distinction and has built his career around sharing exceptional wines and the stories that bring them to life.
