Wine 101: From Grapes to Glass- Summer

COURSE SYNOPSIS
Are you a wine newbie or simply interested in learning more about your favorite beverage? Wine 101 is the perfect class for wine professionals and enthusiasts alike.

In this course, we’ll cover basic grapegrowing and winemaking techniques, learn the in’s and out’s of wine tasting & evaluation, explore five “classic” varieties via tasting and guided discussion, and have an all around good time. Hands-on experiments, witty banter and memorable stories are all a part of the fun.

DETAILS

• Classes focus on the science of wine production and include hands-on experiments.
• Each class will include guided tastings of a minimum of 5 wines
• Light appetizers will be provided
• A maximum of 16 seats are available in each course

FUNDAMENTALS OF WINE PACKAGE

Purchase the Fundamentals of Wine ticket and you will be attending all four of our core classes:

• Wine 101 on June 18
• Wine 201 on July 9
• Wine 301 on August 13
• Wine 401 on September 10
• All four classes can be purchased for a discounted price of $180 ($160 for members)

***Due to the complexities of scheduling, class tickets are nonrefundable. For Fundamentals series classes, if you are unable to attend a session, you must contact us at least five business days before the course.  In special cases we may be able to put you on a wait list for the next session wherein tickets are released three business days before the course.  If you have any questions about your tickets, please call or email us directly.
